Privacy Policy

Everything in this section is optional and is collected only when you choose to fill in a form. You can browse the entire website without providing any of it.

Depending on which form you use, you may be asked for:

• Your name and email address, which the forms require in order to reply to you
• A phone number, which is optional on every form
• Your preferred way to be contacted — email, phone or text
• Whether you are buying, selling, relocating or still exploring
• Your timeline for moving
• An approximate budget or price range
• Areas or neighborhoods you are interested in, the city you are moving from, and where you are moving to
• A property address, if you are asking about a home you already own
• Property preferences such as home type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, features you need and features you would like
• Household or space requirements, relocation details such as a move date, housing plans and commute considerations
• Whether you are already working with an agent, and your financing situation
• Your relationship to a property and the kind of help you are looking for, if you use the Home Transitions form
• Any message or notes you write yourself

When you submit a form, the website also records the page you submitted it from, the page that referred you to the site, your browser's user-agent string and the date and time. This is ordinary technical context that helps make sense of an enquiry.

Please do not send sensitive information through the forms on this site. There is no need to provide a Social Security number, a date of birth, bank or account numbers, or financial statements to start a conversation, and the forms do not ask for them.

San Diego Fit is a guided questionnaire that helps you think through where in San Diego County you might want to focus. You answer questions about priorities, budget range, the places you need to get to regularly, the kind of home you are looking for and the trade-offs you are willing to make. Those answers are used to produce area suggestions.

A few things are worth being clear about:

• You can complete the assessment and see your results without telling the site who you are. Results are produced from your answers alone.
• Each assessment is given a randomly generated identifier. That identifier is not derived from you or your device and does not identify you on its own.
• Your answers are saved in your own browser so that refreshing the page does not lose your progress and so you can return to a completed result. This is described under Browser storage below.
• Your name, email or phone number become associated with an assessment only if you choose to provide them afterwards.
• Results are informational decision-support. They are intended to help you decide where to look more closely. They are not a guarantee that an area will suit you, and they are not a substitute for visiting places yourself.

This website does not set cookies. It does use two kinds of browser storage, both of which stay on your own device and are readable only by this website:

• sessionStorage holds a San Diego Fit assessment you have in progress, so that reloading the page does not discard your answers. It is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab.
• localStorage holds your most recent completed San Diego Fit assessments — up to three — so you can see them again when you come back. It also holds details you have entered into a form on this site, as described in the next section.

You can clear both at any time through your browser's settings for site data, and the website is built to work normally when they are empty or unavailable. Some browsers block this storage in private browsing mode; the site is designed to keep working if that happens.

The buyer calculators on this site work entirely in your browser. The figures you enter into them are not stored, not sent to Ardra and not included in any analytics.

This website is new, and it is being prepared for full launch. It is important to be accurate about what currently happens when you submit a form.

At present, the details you enter into a form are saved in your own browser's storage on your device. They are not transmitted to a server, an email inbox or a client-management system, because that delivery has not yet been connected. In practice this means a form submission may not reach Ardra.

If you would like to reach Ardra now, please email ardra@ardrarealtor.com directly. This section will be updated as soon as form delivery is in place, and the rest of this policy will be revised at the same time.

Information provided through this website is used to:

• Respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started
• Understand what you are looking for so that any help offered is relevant
• Provide the San Diego Fit results you asked for
• Follow up appropriately about the request you made
• Keep the website working correctly and improve how it is organized

Information you provide is not used for advertising, and it is not provided to advertising networks.

This website uses a small number of outside services, and only the ones listed here:

• Google Fonts. The typefaces used across the site are loaded from Google's font servers. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and standard request information. Google's handling of that is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Website hosting and delivery. The site is served through a hosting and content-delivery provider, which processes ordinary technical request information such as IP addresses in the course of delivering pages to you.

There is no analytics service, advertising platform, tracking pixel, social-media embed, chat widget or session-recording tool on this website. Videos on the site are served directly from this website rather than from a third-party video platform.

The footer links to Suora, the company that built this website. Following that link takes you to a separate site with its own terms and privacy practices.

Ardra Realtor does not sell personal information collected through this website. Information may be shared in these circumstances:

• With service providers that are necessary to operate the website, such as hosting and delivery, which handle information on Ardra's behalf
• With a brokerage or other real-estate professionals where that is necessary to act on a request you have made
• With professional partners — for example a lender, escrow or title company, inspector or transaction coordinator — where that is necessary to provide a service you have asked for
• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to establish or defend a legal claim
• In connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case information would remain subject to a policy consistent with this one

Information you provide is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose you provided it — to respond to your enquiry, to assist with a real-estate request, or to meet record-keeping obligations that apply to real-estate activity.

Ardra Realtor has not yet set fixed retention periods for each category of information. Rather than state a schedule that is not in place, this policy will be updated once one is established. In the meantime, you can ask what information Ardra holds about you and request that it be deleted, using the contact details below.

Information held in your own browser's storage stays there until you clear it, or until your browser clears it.

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and reasonable measures are used to protect the information it handles. No website or method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee of security can be given.

As noted above, please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through this website's forms.

• You can use the whole website, including San Diego Fit, without providing your name, email or phone number.
• Every field beyond a name and email on the contact forms is optional. You can leave anything blank.
• You can clear the information this site has stored in your browser at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
• You can contact Ardra to ask what personal information is held about you, to correct it, or to ask that it be deleted.
• You can ask to stop receiving follow-up communication at any time, and that request will be honored.

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information involved, California residents may have certain rights regarding their personal information, which can include the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to request correction, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.

To make a privacy-related request, email ardra@ardrarealtor.com and describe what you are asking for. Ardra will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law, and may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Requests are handled by email; there is no automated request portal on this website.

This website does not sell personal information and does not share it with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.

This website is intended for adults engaged in real-estate activity. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please get in touch and it will be deleted.

This policy may be updated as the website develops or as legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here, and continuing to use the website after an update means the revised policy applies.
